The problem

A list in the game works until someone is faster than you.

  • Whoever throws the list first wins, not whoever agreed first.
  • To reserve anything you have to be logged in to the game.
  • Nobody knows who has the spot in an hour and who in three. Reservations vanish in the chat history.
  • The admin wastes time watching who walked onto whose spot.

What you get

Everything in Discord, no extra apps.

Bookings without fights

  • Any range down to the minute, also across midnight
  • First come, first served: two people cannot book the same time
  • Tibia server time, posts shown in the reader's time zone
  • A view of free spots for chosen hours

Always up-to-date schedule

  • A post for today and tomorrow in every spot's channel
  • Refreshes itself after every change
  • A deleted post is rebuilt from the database
  • A new channel in the category is a spot right away

Daily bookings

  • Every day or on chosen weekdays
  • The bot books it for you when the day enters the window
  • No priority: whoever got there first has the spot
  • Entries from a daily carry a 馃攣 icon in the post

Rules set by the admin

  • Window: up to N hours ahead, or from server save to server save
  • A limit per spot per day, split into blocks or not
  • Optional conflicts that the players settle
  • Nobody can have two bookings at the same time

Real players

  • Character verification with a code on tibia.com, through TibiaData
  • Optional: the Discord nickname must match the character
  • Every 15 minutes: whoever left or lost the role loses their bookings
  • Manual verification when TibiaData is down

How it works

Three steps for a player.

  1. Register your character: /register character, paste the code in the "Comment" field on tibia.com, then /register verify.
  2. Reserve a spot in its channel: /booking add from:21:00 to:23:30.
  3. Change of plans: /booking update or /booking cancel.

The database is the truth

Discord is only a view. Nothing is lost when someone deletes a post.

Security

Every request from Discord is verified with an Ed25519 signature. The bot serves only your server.
